How To Jumpstart Your Exercise

Before I joined Mohr Results Boot Camp I did not work out on a daily or even weekly basis. I would walk, maybe once every few weeks for about 30 minutes – and nothing more, ever.

I didn’t know what to do aside from walking. That was my excuse -- I would get bored with walking, so I didn’t do that much either. But I’m getting married in November and want to be in great shape!

I had heard about Mohr Results Boot Camp for awhile, but was frankly scared – would there be a drill instructor in my face yelling? I had no idea what to expect.

I finally got the courage and dragged my mom with me - we decided to join Mohr Results Boot Camp. My friends and family were shocked, knowing my exercise history.

I went to buy weights and mat, like suggested, but realized I didn’t even have exercise clothes to wear since I never exercised regularly.

Finally the first morning of boot camp came – my alarm went off and I admit, I was anxious – I had no idea what to expect. And I surely didn’t want to make a fool of myself!

I’m in my 20’s and have never officially been a part of a regular exercise program in my life.

Until now.

I’ll admit, those first few days were tough – remember, this was totally new to me. Then something happened. About a week into the camp, I began to notice that throughout the day I had more energy and more confidence.

I found myself each workout pushing myself harder, and enjoying it more.

Sure, there were many days I did not want to get out of bed…until I got there. It’s all women. There’s no judgment and it’s so cool how we encourage one another to push ourselves harder.

I love how each day the workout is different; I can honestly say that no two days were identical. I had no idea that working out could be so much fun! And to think that I went 20+ years with just walking once in awhile. This is what I was missing – FUN workouts that are effective!

Thank you all for caring so much – it’s not just the workouts, but I look forward to the daily emails to help with our nutrition and encouragement too. It’s amazing how in just a few short weeks I’ve grown stronger, improved my balance, and energy levels!

Here’s the real shocker, though, to me, my friends and family – who were surprised I even signed up for this in the first place. The last day of boot camp came and I quickly realized how much better I felt physically and mentally with the morning boot camp workouts; there was no question I was signing up again!!

Prior to boot camp I would make up every excuse of why I could not workout throughout the day, but there was no excuse at 5:30am. It is a great feeling to be pulling in my driveway at 6:45 am knowing that I had already completed a great workout for the day. That is something I never thought I would be able to say!

I am so thankful for Mohr Results Boot Camp for giving me the confidence and workout routine I have been searching for.
